Strategy - our second aim - intervention
We will intervene when homelessness occurs through the establishment of a co-ordinated Homeless Crisis Response Service enabling appropriate routes out of homelessness to be identified and accessed for all homeless households.
The key actions identified are:-
- Intervention through improved assessment and referral processes
- Providing appropriate support services
- Developing a Direct Access/Crisis Response System
- Providing sufficient Temporary Accommodation
- Providing and enabling flexible access to Supported Accommodation
- Ensuring the quality of accommodation and staffing
