The following is a summary of the Regulations - it is not intended to be detailed legal advice on the provisions.
The Regulations prescribe the circumstances where local authorities can provide interim accommodation to homeless applicants who otherwise would be entitled to permanent accommodation in terms of section 31 of the Housing
(Scotland) Act 1987.
It sets out the circumstances which apply where a housing support services assessment has identified that an applicant for housing requires housing support services which cannot reasonably be provided within permanent accommodation.
