Aberdeen Homelessness Strategy

Homelessness Strategy Advisory Group

The Advisory Group comprises Councillors, Council Officers, representatives from Registered Social Landlords, voluntary organizations, the Police, and NHS (Grampian). These representative positions are subject to annual elections and are required to be representative of the sector as a whole: for the community / voluntary sector, regularly reporting back through the ACVO and through other appropriate means.

 

The functions of the Homelessness Strategy Advisory Group are to:-

  • annually discuss and review the strategy and action plans;
  • annually recommend priorities to the Commissioning Board;
  • receive and discuss monitoring information and reports on initiatives;
  • receive and discuss reports from time limited Action Groups, and the Health and Homelessness Action Group;
  • identify gaps in service.
